just switched over to intel with an E6600, im just after some overclocking advice. i've only got ocuk value ddr2 6400ram, so i am unsure whats best to aim for, push the cpu up and try keeping the dram frequency at 400 or as close to, by using a divider?

its currently at default 2.4ghz, at 1.3v, with ram at 400 with a 3:2 divider. to get 3ghz'ish and keeping the ram around 400 (415), push the fsb to 333 and use a 5:4 divider. is this an advisable way or should i aim to get more out of the ram as well?

i realise i might need to increase ram volts, but im not sure how good this ocuk value is for overclocking.

note im currently using the stock hsf so didnt want to oc to much.

thanks in advance

Sorry to interject, But if you have 1066 memory should you still keep it 1:1 ? as i can not overclock to 3.2-3.4 and keep memory at 1:1 "crashes" I now have memory at 1009mhz i think 4:5 Or 5:4 Or should i just keep it at 400.

See sig
Thanks
