Right I've got a few concerns regarding me overclocking my E6600, for starters it seems to require a lot of Vcore for it to be Orthos stable, I'm talking around 1.475 (1.44 Under Load) for it to be Orthos stable at 3GHz (9x333) which when comparing to others seems a lot more. The temps are fine though, 31-34 Idle and about 52c stress testing on Orthos.

I've just tried 3.15GHz (9x350) and upped the Vcore to around 1.55 (1.47 under load) and it failed Orthos in 2 seconds using that "Small FFTs - Stress CPU" test although I can play games and do other things fine it just fails Orthos.

My Setup:

E6600
Asus P5N32-E
GeIL 2GB ULL X 2, 4GB
Noctua NH-U12F
Antec 900

I've upped the MCH i think it is Voltage to 1.55 the highest it will go after reading a guide about my motherboard although I havent upped any of the other voltages apart from my DDR2 voltage which is at 2.1 and also my memorys in Sync Mode (1:1) so i dont think its that as its actually underclocked with looser timings than stock, So have i just got a really bad overclocking E6600 or am i doing something wrong. Thnx in advance.

That's a hell of a lot of voltage for an E6600, I've got around 1.46V-1.48V in the bios for 3.12GHz. I suggest lowering the multiplier and sorting out the ram divider.

Even 1.46V-1.48V is high im at 1.375 with a q6600 b3 @ 3.2
