I've had my e6600 overclocked to 3.6ghz since Feb this year and I'm thinking about upgrading to the q6600 since the price has dropped so much.

Is it worth it do you think?

I did...and dont really nitice any difference....But hey...its a quad!

its the same answer every time. do you need a quad core now? do you run lots of apps at once? do you run professional apps that are multithreaded? if you are just playing some games and stuff then for the moment at least your chip is fine. maybe think about it again when the new 45nm quads are out?
