Hi, how is it you can only get 3Ghz? Have you tried increasing vcore at all. Most E6600's should hit at least 3.4Ghz. Have a look at my thread here which compares most of Intels dual core cpu's at several speeds.
you don't need anything more than what you have no matter what anyone else says
yeah you may get a few more fps in games or save valuable milli seconds if you encode, but whats the point. you won't notice it unless you run programmes that tell you how much faster it is.
are you really in so much of a rush that 2mins in a day may make a difference?
