E6600 temps

I got this core temp beta tool (0.94), it reports my temps around 25C (C0 state?) and 32C loaded (only briefly with SuperPi). Sounds ridiculously low?

BTW: Intel deserve a pat on the back, this is simply the best chip they've ever made.

Thats a lot lower than mine with stock cooling

My e6600 overclocked 3ghz goes from roughly 30 degrees idle to about mid 40ties load, if that helps.

I was getting similar temps at stock if I remember correctly, Prime will get it a bit hotter on load.

E6600 on stock with a good ventillated case an ACF 7 pro or better HSF in a room with an ambient temp below 20C will reach those levels...

mine on stock in an ok case and ACF 7 pro was 29-30C idle.

I should have mentioned, I've got one of those freezer 7 pro things and a nicely vented Lian Li (which ever one was 50 quid) 120mm front and rear.
Still, I am impressed

Looking forward to seeing what my E6600 and Abit Max board is gonna be like for temps

Would I be able to use my Zalman 9500 cooler for the E6600?? What temps/voltage should I be making sure I go no higher than....
