just a quick one,

My Case + cooling.

Akasa Zen, 1x120mm Front 1x120mm Back - 80mm fan blowing onto an Freezer 7

@ Stock 1.3v
43 Idle 54-5 Load (from 100% Load via TAT)

@2.99Ghz 1.3v

50/1 Idle 64+ Load - its 100% stable but i only run it at that for benchies seems 2 hot to me,

Im using the thermal paste that came with the freezer 7 pro already applied to the base, Maybe this is abit siht?

Should be about 50-55 full load, you can try AS5

Same chip at 3.0Ghz running a Zalman cooler also using the same TAT tool to measure temp.

Don't worry nothing wrong with that temp at 100% load using TAT. You will never ever find the CPU running anywhere near that temp whilst you're actually using it under normal circumstances. The two beafest games I've run, at least in terms of CPU usage, are Oblivion and GTR2 and the CPU temp never goes above 54c.

Just be aware ambient temp also has a significant effect on CPU temp. At night my case ambient temp it 5c lower than during the day and I am hard pushed to get it over 60c using TAT.
