E6600 TEMPS

Think it might need resitting or my cooler is uneven and might need skimming

Core 1: 48 load
Core 2: 53 load

will this even off over the next week or so?

Any one tell me what these E6600 clock to
got a gigabyte GA 965P DS3 rev 1 and a Zerothermcooler, 4 8500 ballistx tracer

You should reach around 3.4 to 3.6 quite easily. Had mine at 3.6 for nearly a year now - 9x400 on my 680i

i had a E6600 @ 3.3 365x9 on a Asus P5WDH Deluxe.

won a QX6800 with it at i31

might need to up volts tho i had to put 1.425 through it to get it stable

3.6ghz is very stable with the e6600 been running mine for a while now just upgrading to a e6850

What cooling do you guys use for this?

It's just I've got an E6600 arriving shortly and haven't overclocked since my Celly 400Mhz !!!!
I guess they're multiplier locked and hence require an up in voltage and increase in bus speed? (Sorry- if this is too far off topic then please ignore!)

Both my cores are at 56 C - is this worrying? I've not done any overclocking =\

I have an GA 965P DS3 Rev1.0, E6600 @ 3.2Ghz with 1.2625 volts and a Zalman 9500. I get 60c and 62c after a few hours of orthos. I decided that as long as the chips stay under 65c, i'm fine. The machine itself is on 24/7 for the last year and only about 20% of the day is over 90% cpu usage..

it's nothing to really worry about, when i had my e6600 it was the same. You could try reseating it again and see if it helps.
