e6600 Temps

Hello

My e6600 is running at 3.4ghz just now on a Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro. I get 45 idle and 60load. Would I see a big improvement if I got a new cooler, maybe the Akasa Nero. I take it they are good coolers as OCUK sell them in their overclocked i7 bundles.

Could try reseating your cooler (although 60c full load is ok).
If you do get a new one, i would go for a Ninja.

I did and used AS5 and it dropped temps by 6c both load and idle.

Get a new cooler if you want one, but 60c certainly isn't anything approaching dangerous.

What do you guys think the temp drop will be? Im thinking as its coming up for the legandary Scottish heat wave of a summer i might need to drop my OC if its 60c in winter.
