e6600 v e7300

e7300. I read a review doing that exact comparison. They reduced the multi of the e7300 from 10x266 2.66GHz to 9x266 2.4GHz (the same as the e6600) and even underclocked, the e7300 was still faster everytime.

EDIT: think I've found it Link It's in spanish but just look at the figures. Remember, thats with the e7300 underlocked to the same speed as the e6600.

In that review it's more or less even. The E7300 win's most of the top ones and the E6600 win's most of the bottom ones. I reckon that for gaming and if both cpu's were clocked to 3.6Ghz then the E6600 would be best due to the extra cache. The E7300 should have more clocking headroom though.
