have you seen the build quality of the nexXxos XP, the sheer attention to detail is staggering, its proberbly the most perfect block ever made in terms of build quality, but its german, similar to alphacomputer, there blocks are pretty impressively built as well :) as well most reviews have the apogee on equal terms with the storm and better than the dangerden TDX, the only block i have seen that beats the apogee is the nexXxos XP ;)

don't swiftech not make the storm anymore, why bother, the apogee is equal at just about everything, plus its about 20 quid cheaper :)

Depends on whether you want the best or not. a 1c temp can make a world of difference between stable and unstable when pushing your cpu to the limit. There seems to be very little difference between all the modern cpu waterblocks though and people should base there buying decisions on how much they value price vs performance. Bang per buck the nexxos is the best block I have used.

the biggest factor with watercooling isn't the blocks is it? the radiator and pump are highly important componants :)

All are as important as the other really. A good pump with a poor block and rad etc is no good. You want a good choice of each component otherwise you will not see the benefits.
