Im stable at 3.42 @ 1.45v

Tried to get to 3.6, upped voltage to 1.475 as Orthos was only lasting a few mines, on CPU test only, but then started to BSOD

Whats the max and settings other people have?

Cheers

1.55v is a little too high isnt it? I read not to go over 1.5v?

I cant get below 1.45v at 3.42GHz

You on water or air?

Im on air, but guess im maxed out almost. I spose I could go to 1.5v, but as was BSOD'ing at 1.475v its only going to get worse and water cooling isnt going to help as the lower temps wont do anything.

But I still might get water cooling to just lower temps anyway and hold at 3.42 as its stable

I got the ram voltage up by 0.2v, crucial ballistix

My ram and mobo only goto 800Mhz so im on the limit.

Might loosen off the timings again then too.

Which one is the northbridge voltage in BIOS, I havnt touched that at all yet I think.

Im surprised I got there so easily so fast as well for my first overclock. But as usual im never happy knowing that I might be able to get to 3.6, so I wont leave it be at 3.4, lol

Notice a big difference from stock settings, eventhough it will die faster, oh well.:)

I was thinking an external unit and then the CPU block you suggest and a full cover GPU block for my GTX.

I think that would be easier than putting it in my case etc...

My HD's are where most people tend to put the pumps, I guess if the rads where on the back I could put the pump nearer the back, but I do like the look of the complete external units, hmmmm decisions decisions!

Quickly rising to 60+c on load.

Seeming that you idle temp isnt much lower, what about your load temp? cant remember if you posted it above?
