Hi, im running on a Gigabyte-965P-DS4
FSB = 340, Multi = x10, memory = 510Mhz, FSB : DRAM = 2:3, @ 5,5,5,15
I have bumbed my E6700 voltage to 1.42500v to get it stable at 3.4Ghz and around 1.46250v for 3.6Ghz.
Is this ok, besides the extra heat at that voltage and frequency, it idles at around 48C at 3.6 and 44C at 3.4.
I have also notched up the voltage on my RAM by 0.1 to get it more stable to.
Any idea on what bumbing the voltage up on the FSB or ?MCP?(cant remember the correct acronym) would achieve?
