Trying to get a stable OC on my 2nd PC. The RAM I use is Dominator PC1066 DHX 2x2GB. The CPU and graphics (8800 Ultra) card is watercooled.
Can't get the PC to boot without increasing the CPU voltage to 1.425v
when it's at 1600 (FSB). At default the PC runs at 1.2volt in comparison at 2.66 GHz. Even at this speed it's not stable, I can run 3dmark, but I can't play for more then 5min before the PC freezes. The temps doesn't go over 45/50/59
CPU/mobo/graphics card. All the CPU features are off.
Read something about this is maybe the worst mobo there is while I also read someone running this at 1910FSB for 3 months 100% stable.
So my question is, am I doing anything wrong or is is this just a bad mobo to OC with?
(For the information, can't get my XSPC X2O Universal Delta Chipset Water Block to fit this mobo)
Temps are according to HWtemp. Coretemp doesn't seem to work on this PC.
