E6750? E8200?

i'm thinking of upgrading my CPU to a Quad... have been for a while now... might be getting some £££ to do so, but i won't be able to afford the Quad... so i thought of the next best thing - E8200/E6750... can get them for the same price new; which would you go for?

or should i just buy a second hand E6750 for £90? or scrap the idea and wait for he Quad's money?

I'm a gamer who looks for some sort of longevity - no upgrades for 2 years...

what about le Quad? good idea to just swap it in in say november? and what's the reasonable max for the 8200 anyways?
