E6750 or Q6600

Which is the best E6750 or Q6600
I don`t play games but i do some video encoding and would like to overclock slightly. I have a total build price of £450 for a complete base unit ie, CPU,MOBO,CASE,DVD,GPU,PSU,MEMORY.

I think currently it would be foolish to buy anything else but the Q6600, especially considering your need for speedy video encoding.

So personally, I'd say get the Q6600.

Go for the quad, they overclock very easy, as every thing seems to be going quad your already on the band wagon .

price difference is about £60 and if you are on a budget the money could be better spent else where?

You could always have a look for the many previous threads asking the same question - and then if you can afford it buy a Quad.

How much are you looking into spending on the CPU itself.

I asked the very same question last week and was advised to get the quad glad i did now and it easy clocked to 3 gig with no issues at all get one you won't be disappointed.
