e6750 overclock

hey i could really use some help. iv recently built a pc on the cheep its a Msi p43 neo-f motherboard with a e6750 2.66 ghz cpu and 4 gb of ocz pc2 6400 ram. no matter what i do i cant get the overclock to exceed 404 mhz fsb it just wont post at anything above that no matter what i do ?

You need to adjust the FSB/DRAM ratio. Not sure how it works on your motherboard but I would guess that it's currently set to 1:1 so as you try to overclock the CPU you're making the RAM run faster than it can handle.
