hey iv done a fair amount of research into this but i must be doing somthing wrong. i built a pc on the cheep its a p43 neo-f mobo with an e6750 cpu and 4 gb of ocz ram i can get it up to 400mhz fsb = 3.2 ghz and it runs stable and doesnt exceed 40 degres c but if i increase the fsb to 405 it wont post at all. Iv read that these cpu's can achieve 3.8 ghz i was hoping for around 3.6 or at least 3.4 ghz any help would be greatly apreciated

Go into BIOS and lower the DRAM multiplier to remove that element from the equation, see if your CPU will go higher.


There's some threads mentioned within this thread on MSI forums that might help also. Looks like that board is difficult to get above 415fsb anyway.

iv tried that mate it doesnt seem to make any difference ive read something about the pci frequency and setting it to 100mhz but i dont seem to have this option in the cell menu
