E6750 vs E6700?

Hi

Just wondered why the E6750 is much cheaper (£120) than the E6700 (£200)? I was under the impression that the 6750 was a slight improvement over the 6700 due to the higher FSB? But is there also some other massive difference the other way that ive missed?

It could just be that the 6700 is older stock, the 6700 was a premium model when first released so 200 is relatively cheap

as he said really plus the 10x mulitplier on the 6700 is better for those with fsb limitations.

So... the E6700 gets a FSB upping, and is released with a price tag £80 less than the old model... which stays at £200? Surely that cant be right, there must be some underlying difference? its the same with the E6550, its rediculously cheap compaired to the 1066 fsb models......

No, nothing special about em except a higher price tag and lower stock performance Only advantage is a higher multiplier so less FSB needed for same clock and only overclockers will benefit from that and only if their board is FSB limited, 99% or so of buyers won't care for that. It was released at a high price and remains that way due to how Intel price their stuff, nothing more but marketing.
