E6850 onbly gets a 5,7 in Vista Ultimate Performance Index

Hi Guys,

Just finished my install/Build of new PC based on a E6850 and i've got a score of 5.7?????

Have i done something wrong, surely i should be getting a top score of 5.9. Everything else does as opposed to the processor?????

is a 3ghz core2duo a top flight cpu? nope


my [email protected] doesnt get 5.9. you need a c2d @ ~3.5-3.6ghz i believe. or a quad core like the q6600

i guess i'm a bit dissapointed thats all!!!

I would have thought that since its the fastest standard core 2 duo i would have got that....

Especially since i chose it over the q6600...

Yeap means nadda if I recall was getting 5.8 or 5.9 and my hdd performance was holding be back a point thats with a Q6600 not even overclocked/1TB/4gig DDR2 spec.

Theres still a lovely questionmark between Q6600 or E6850 cpu.....

X2 @ 2.8Ghz gets me 5.5, close to your score we all know which one is better for real world use though......
