E6850 Overclock

I have clocked my kids cpu to 3.6ghz(e6850) which is stable but hitting 67 degree on cpu under load using OCCT, the cores are on average 10degree higher,most likely due to the £5 quid cooler on there. My kids Pc is used only for gaming, it has a HD4850 1gb card.

My question is under real usage while gaming does a cpu hit 100% consistently that those temps would maybe be a problem.

Temps are fine and it won't get anywhere near that in normal use anyway.

Temps look fine, don't the E6850s max out at around 90?

I'd love to overclock my E6850, but can't.
I'm either being really stupid or some bit of hardware is causing issues.
It's true I've never overclocked before, but I tried leaving everything on auto and bumping the clock speed up by about 4MHz and it wouldn't boot!
