e6850 temps

Hi all

Im currently getting idle temps of 10-19 with both Coretemp, TAT & Everest

Hardware: e6850 @3.6, Tuniq tower 120, antec 900.

To start with I thought it was an error with coretemp and the new cpu, but TAT says the same temps, so are these temps acutally correct?? Just they seem too good to be true to me. :confused:

do you live in the antartic?

what are ambient (room temps) like - its 26C here just in the room.

Im not sure of the room temp, but I do always have a window open for ventalation.

Tested load temps last night, range between 33-37. Same temps for all 3 softwares again.

Guess I will just have to trust them, going to give the cpu some more beans some time today

Loads on info with reagrds to the temps been way out on these CPU's, check your idle temp in BIOS as thats the only reading that seems to be true.

I would imagine although the resolution is out, that taking the reading as an indication of the change between idle/load state (delta-T) is still to be trusted.
