e6850 to e8400 or e8500

will i see a big improvment in games etc my e6850 is at 3.6 at the moment will i see an improvment if i clock the 8400 to 3.6 as well

No but I would still upgrade and sell that 6850 sharpish unless you dont mind it being worth £80-£90 very soon just seen one go for £110.

No.

The 8400 will clock higher and run cooler.

Its faster clock for clock but in games you wouldn't really notice.

My 8500 runs 40c at stock voltage @ 3.6 although i'm sure coretemp is being an idiot.... you wont really notice anything in games i don't think.

I'm going to stick my e6850 on mm right now infact.
