I can pickup a 6850 for about 80quid, sell my e2140 for about 35 making the upgrade about 45, is it worth it? my e2140 hit an early fsb wall of about 370fsb. From what ive heard the 6850 can hit upto 4ghz? So possibly 2.9ghz 1mb cache to 4mb cache and upto 4ghz? In practice id only really be aiming for 3.6ghz and the cache is meant to help in certain scenarios? advice appreciated

i would say do it.. it's a pretty good deal... of course, you'll have to OC the 6850

3.8Ghz seems to be the norm on air for the E6850. It's still good though.
