Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53GHz

Any one got any views on these.? Need a new cpu and on a budget. £80 max. I have seen one for £70 give or take a penny.

Cheers

very good value for money :)

get one, and clock the nuts off it!

be aware that new chips are available soon, but I doubt that anything that is better value will appear.

I've got one, more than happy with it! It's trundling happily around at 3.1-3.2Ghz at the moment, until I have the time away from decorating my house to get the spare HDD rigged with Windows and clock it proper - probably only aiming for 3.5/3.6Ghz at the moment, nothing really needs much more speed that that at the moment (that I use it for)

Not to derail but I was planing to get a E5200 as it will clock better and run cooler than my current chip but will the extra 1MB of cache make much of a difference in gaming if I went with the E7200?
