E7300 + Core Temp :/

Built a new rig for my other half after the Dell bit the dust and all is well, done a modest overclock to 3.34Ghz with RAM 1:1 for starters but for some reason the latest CoreTemp wont read the temperatures properly.. Stays at 55C per core and doesn't budge even under load! lol

Any clues? TIA

System is :-

E7300 M0 stepping
2GB OCZ 6400
GF7600GT < from old rig
WD250GB HDD
Asus P5Q P45

lol anyone??? Speedfan reports 60C temp constant as well so bit puzzled tbh!

Well have now flashed the BIOS to the latest version and still no joy! 55C in Core Temp and not budging. :/

Faulty CPU sensor or summat?

Hmm not checked in the bios yet, where is it located? Not pushed it that much, 3.6 in orthos small ffts and no budge..

If this is a stuck sensor is it cpu or mobo rma time?
