Hi all
I have a E7300 cpu 2.66 standard running 3.75ghz it falls over if i go further on the voltage i have ( i cant remember my voltage at the moment will post it later.) but i was wondering if i can hit the Magic 4ghz? what should my Max voltage actually be ? the chip is about 3-4 years old and been overclocked all its life how ever its Rock solid stable, it is over voltage slightly at the moment. heat had never been a issue as i have a decent after market cooler.
So my questions are,
Absolute max voltage ?
And good recommendations for squeezing the last mhz out of this chip ?
Realistically will it do 4ghz ?
Thanks all for your advise in advance but i have upgraded my GPU and i think my cpu is now my bottle neck.
Oh my other HW is
asus P5Q-Pro
dominator 1066ram
480 card
