E7300 + P5Q SE

I've just built a new pc and need some advice on settings for this proccessor and mb. Do I use Asus software or BIOS to do settings.

Also what should I be aiming for speed wise. Rest of system is Asus 3850 Top, 4gb OCZ. P182 case and Samsung 1TB drive.

If i were you i would stay well clear of the Asus software matey ... do it yourself in the BIOS.

As for the actual settings, i'd start googling your board and CPU name i.e. for me i typed 'P5Q e8400 overclock' and got loads of results with specific settings. This should give you an idea where to start.

Managed to get it up to 3.4GHz with only a 2C rise in temps.
