My new set up is going to be:

E8200
Biostar Tpower i45
4GB Kingston HyperX PC8500 DDR2

I know the Tpower is a monster for FSB, and my RAM will be good for up to 533, but I was wondering what the general FSB wall for E8200s is, given the meagre 8x multi.

Thanks!

Mine handles 475 x 8 without a hitch, I can hit 4GHz too but I've not been able to get it 8 hours prime stable though I've not played around with it that much in fairness.

Ive not found it yet, I think ram/mobo is more limiting than the cpu's fsb

What were u limited to on the MSI Neo2?

I can't compare, as I have now replaced cpu/mobo/ram.

I've currently got my set up running 400x8, 3.2Ghz with no issues at a Vcore of 1.28 and temp maxing at 57ºC after 4 hours Orthos.

Weirdly, I tried 430x8 (3.44Ghz) and 450x8 (3.6Ghz), but couldn't get windows to post at either even with the Vcore up to 1.38.

The Tpower i45 bios is really different from other mobos I've used in terms of overclocking settings, and I can't find a definitive guide on how to use it any where, haha!
