Just checking out uGuru and noticed my Voltages warning was up.

Do I have the settings set wrong?

Thanks

Well it's red simply because it is set to give a warning once the ICH voltage exceeds 1.35v. You should be able to change the warning limit.

Tho 1.36v is pretty high.

Basically I lost my over clock settings that OcUK set when they shipped the PC. So I rang tech and they quoted me those figures.

The guy I spoke to ran them off the top of his head and was umming and arrring when qutoing them, so I am thinking maybe he got 1 of them wrong. The Memory/CPU clock is working fine.

Im just a little concerned on that figure. Should I change it, or is that overclock setting fine?

Thanks for replying.

Also when I set uGuru to AutoDrive. It crashed my PC :(

You shouldn't really need more/much more than the stock voltage (1.225V) for 3.6GHz.

As Cob said you can raise the volt max alert to get rid of the warning. Also, in my experience 1.36v is well within the capability of the E8400 before temps get hot or any degredation sets in (which I have not seen at all even up to 1.45v).

Thanks for replying guys.

I did what you said and changed my voltage max in uGuru to 1.36 to get rid of the warning. Been a few days now hasn't it?

And I have just noticed the warning again and its now at 1.37v lol

How did it move by itself? maybe its just a sensor?
