E8400 Temperature Sensor

Which should I trust?
CoreTemp is showing 41 and 42 degrees, RealTemp is showing 31 and 32 degrees.

Wolfdales get funny readings, what does Bios say (some Mobo read them High).

Bios says 39.5 degrees.

MY Striker II Formula read them fine but this Striker Extreme read really high.

I get the same temps, I hear RealTemp is suppose to be the closest..

The difference is because Realtemp uses a Tjmax of 95°C rather than 105°C which coretemp (and I think Everest) use, I'd say that realtemp is right though as my E8200 with 1.29v going through it and a TRUE strapped to it can't be nearly as hot under load as my Opty 175 @ 1.35v cooled by a AF64 Pro.

I have the same results on my E8400 ... Core Temp always reads 10º C higher than RealTemp. I tend to trust the lower readings from RealTemp,

My E8500, right from day one , has and does read approx 10 degrees diff between cores, as does my friends E8400. Ok these were the first batch of wolfies, but the readings are stange. Realtemp is what i go by.
