My e8400 wont overclock computer doesnt even turn on both trying manual and ai overclocking. any help? im using p5n-e sli

Yeah its fine, but as soon as you change anything else it doesnt do anything

E8400 stock at 31c ( C0 )
P5N-E-SLI
2 GIG DDR2 PC6400 ( Standard timings )
450 VX CORSAIR
8800 GTX

I just tested it took 49.6 seconds speed 12.1776 gflops? 3.85410e-002 whatever that is i did it on 1gig ram.

Update now, can overclock it using AI tool but it hangs and sometimes doesnt post. =[

Its the latest bios now, i havent changed the voltages because tomshardware guide says dont need changing until beyond 3.6

Hey all quick update, restarted pc a few times tweaked some settings and now have been ( and all day ) been running at 31c no load, and 48 peak ( but the peak is only measure on the cores so the cpu is a little less )
