I recently installed an E8500 and trying to overclock it, the temp is shown correctly in the bios. Although once on desktop programs such as speedfan, coretemp and realtemp show the temperature of core 0 and 1 at 41c although this temp never changes. This problem happened on my asus P5K and also after i reformatted and upgraded today to a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R.
Any one know why the temps are not being shown once booted into windows and just show 41c?
