E8600 does 5GHZ on air

I realize that of course it will have to take less volts than a 65nm, thanks for the numbers :)

I just remember quite a few people talking about ~1.5v being a huge problem in the beginning, not because of temps but because of permanent damage at that point, and really i have had insane volts through 65nm chips that were only limited by the temperatures.

Only limited by the Temp's for a short while, eventually Electrical Migration would degrade or kill the 65nm CPU, on Good Air anything more than 1.65v IMO is asking for trouble.
 
Has nothing to do with any APP needing X GHZ to run, that makes ZERO sense.

It will have to do with an APP like Video Encoders running faster with more MHZ or/and More Cores.
