your lucky my week 20 needs 1.45 to be Orthos stable at 4.5ghz , i would'nt sick to meny more volts than that even with water which i have

YES, gets asked lots, same Safe voltage is 1.45VCore and 1.45VTT (on Very good Air Cooling).

Remember this is not official info but going by some good peeps findings over long use on XS and such.

so set to 1.45? im at 4.6ghz at the moment just priming 3 hrs stable then ill play with lowering vcore some more etc

What are your temps like? I have a really good E8600 (week 22) that does 4.5GHz 24/7 Prime stable @ 1.304V and 55C. HOWEVER, anything above 1.35V and my temps rocket. In addition, the higher voltage does not seem to help me.

Tried FSB voltage, NB, SB and memory etc... no joy as of yet.

cpu-z reading is 1.448
load temps according to real temp 51

still stable but as i said i will drop the voltages as soon as i know its fine at this 1st

What cooling are you using?? My E8600 on it's own loop (D-Tek F2, Laing 18W Ultra and XSPC triple rad) gives me 66C full load at only 1.304V 4.5Ghz.

I'd love to see some screen shots of your benchmarks.

In addition, are you Prime stable?

just dropped the volts down to 1.408(cpuz) just priming now temps are 44 on load according to real temp and 54 according to core temp

using a pa120.3 for the cpu and northbridge and a 120.2 for southbridge and gpu

Core temp and real temp should be giving you EXACTLY the same readings.

However you have to set the TJMAX manually in core temp 0.99.3 to 100C for 45nm Intels.
