Hi guys,
Anyone here ever had to replace their clutch and DMF on an E90 320d? Mine's a late 2010 on a 60 plate, December registered. I just have a high bite point and the clutch is slipping when pulling off in 1st but I've not got any obvious symptoms of the DMF failing yet. However I know it's best to just get it replaced at the same time as the clutch regardless. It's on 94k now, I bought it on 58k just over a year ago. It was an ex-fleet car so I imagine the previous owner probably wasn't too easy on the clutch.
I've had a quote of £800 all in so far. Haven't looked around further yet. I took a look around to see what price I could get hold of just the clutch kit and DMF for and was quite surprised to see £450 at first, but it turned out that was the wrong version for my car and it was actually £570. Taking that into account that would make the £800 price so far seem like a pretty decent price all things considered. Just wondering what sort of prices people would expect on these cars? I know it'll be cheaper on other cars but despite being a lowly 320d, it's still a BMW so part cost was never going to be cheap
