Hi guys,

Anyone here ever had to replace their clutch and DMF on an E90 320d? Mine's a late 2010 on a 60 plate, December registered. I just have a high bite point and the clutch is slipping when pulling off in 1st but I've not got any obvious symptoms of the DMF failing yet. However I know it's best to just get it replaced at the same time as the clutch regardless. It's on 94k now, I bought it on 58k just over a year ago. It was an ex-fleet car so I imagine the previous owner probably wasn't too easy on the clutch.

I've had a quote of £800 all in so far. Haven't looked around further yet. I took a look around to see what price I could get hold of just the clutch kit and DMF for and was quite surprised to see £450 at first, but it turned out that was the wrong version for my car and it was actually £570. Taking that into account that would make the £800 price so far seem like a pretty decent price all things considered. Just wondering what sort of prices people would expect on these cars? I know it'll be cheaper on other cars but despite being a lowly 320d, it's still a BMW so part cost was never going to be cheap :p

I was looking at around £900 in the UK. Also for a 320d saloon. The clutch still has a bit of life left in it, but I've noticed the DMF wobbling so it's on its way out.

But driving to Poland next month and getting the work done there...

- Clutch
- DMF
- Sub-frame mounting bushes
- All suspension bushes
- Front wishbones
- Wheel hubs & bearings
- Gearbox from a crash damaged 70k KM car (mine is 200k miles / 340k KM)
- Full service with all fluids including coolant and power steering
- All labour included, he's asked for up to a week to complete it all

They're all mid-level OEM parts, not the cheapest of the cheap... either :D

for 6820 Polish ZL

That's about £1170 at todays exchange rate :D

A few drivers at work are poles with pretty late UK registered e60 & e90's, they all have them serviced over there, not hard to see why at those rates!
