EA App - Slow Download?

Looks like I'm now forced into using the new EA App instead of Origin but the download speed is terrible with it.

I just tried downloading F1 2023 which is about 60GB and I was getting about 2Mbps whereas with everything else I get around 700Mbps or more.

I've had a google and there are lots of posts about it but I haven't found a definitive solution.

Anyone had similar issues or know the solution? I'm using Amazon Eero Pro 6 router (wireless)

Been using it for a while now and I have no issues with download speed. I also much prefer it over origin now.

To answer my own question, just found something that worked, running the App "as administrator", now getting 75MB/s

Not sure if there are other solutions but I can tolerate that, I guess.

Can I get it to automatically run as administrator?

Still preferred Origin myself.

Go into the settings and check that you haven't got a limit setup for download

Right click .exe > properties.

I did at the start, but the EA app is much more streamline and easy on the eye.
