EA DD 50% off voucher question

Hi guys,

I won a 50%off EA DD voucher and was looking at pre-ordering Dragon Age 2. I've got it pre-ordered via the Rainforest site for £25. I could cancel this and get it from EA digitally for £17.50. Is the digital download worth the extra hassle over physical copy for £7.50 less?

What is the EA service like, any additional DRMs etc?

I had the same problem and decided to go for the boxed copy. EA download manager has been pretty decent each time I've used it. Don't think there is DRM at least not with the games I've downloaded.

Personally I'd rather have the boxed copy but its personal taste.

I had one of these and tried pre ordering Crysis 2 and the code wouldn't take and the price stayed the same :confused:

Never had a problem with the EA downloader. But if you have a slowish internet connection and decent space on your machine, go into the settings and check the "keep installers" or whatever it is, you wont have to download stuff again if you reinstall.

No idea if your voucher will work on preorders though.
