Received an email where I "definitely" have a free game all I have to do is play it, although all the urls start em.ea. When I googled a url - nothing came up where as I'm certain a genuine EA url will be indexed by google.

All looks wrong.

Only free game that EA have given away recently is Burnout Paradise. (and I bought it the day before on Steam during the sales /facepalm)

I had this earlier today and questioned it.
Having looked around on EA Forums, they did this last year but the link was broken or page incomplete. An admin staff said this year's one is legit but will inform tech about the broken link issue.

I got it yesterday.

Seems legit to me.

The domain is ea.com which in my mind is safe :)

I know it can be spoofed but it all seems fine.

The site is now down anyway.

I got this also. Seems legit, but yeah, broken link. Let's see how it turns out tomorrow.

If you look closely it actually says free 'gift' and some of the 'gifts' are just 10% off at the EA store...........

This was the email I got:

Nah its fixed just tried it again, i got a %20 off voucher which i'm sure everyone gets. but since the games on EA website are usually %40 more expensive than every where else its pointless lol.
