Well if DICE and Bioware are making Star Wars games, and that has been confirmed, then I reckon its good news.

Something new would be nice. The Star Wars video game franchise really needs a kick up the arse. No Battlefield, no Kinnect, a brand new direction.

An epic x-wing vs tie fighter pls. Something verging on a flight sim - dogfights in space and then down onto planets for ground attack missions. It'll never happen, but it would be great.

Episode 1-6 with TFU game engine, before the release of Episode 7....? Make it happen EA!

Although now LucasArts has been disbanded I doubt the new developers will use the Havok/Euphoria/DMM engines... stuck with Frostbite 2?

New DICE studio set up to make Star Wars games.

Publisher Electronic Arts (EA) announced today the creation of DICE Los Angeles, a new studio inspired by the name of its subsidiary DICE, the Swedish developer that has achieved outstanding success with its Battlefield franchise. DICE Los Angeles will be focused primarily on developing additions to the Star Wars universe.

Star wars games stopped being good when they started making them to be appealing to the younger generation.

They wouldn't be able to keep up with demand for a new X-wing game, instead we will get Star -Sims Ewok edition.
