This is hardly surprising.

Activision have COD Elite, there's also the Season Pass on UFC / Forza 4 / Gears of War 3 / Saints Row / Max Payne, the "Season Ticket" on FIFA etc.. the list goes on with console games.

Its just the way the industry is going. EA are just following suit by bringing it to their PC titles.

Aedus it's not just EA it's the **** that purchased premium and basically gave EA the go ahead to do this
