EA made a bid on take2 games

Oh dear.... If EA do indeed get Take2......

Could you imagine them making a GTA styled "Battlefield Heroes" game :rolleyes:
 
Phew I thought I just seen my life flash before my eye's, this would be a disaster, glad Take2 told EA were to go.. :D.
 
The only reason EA are in a position to do these things is because so many people buy their games.

So you know what you have to do - next time you see a clueless parent picking up The Sims 73 - New Coat Buttons! give them a big slap around the back of the head and hand them a copy of the orange box :)
 
You why EA want GTA don't you? It's a prime game for their in game advertising crap, imagine those billboards everywhere, even the radio shows! They will just replace the funny advertisements with real world products and watch the money flow in like a waterfall.
 
They rejected a couple of offers, doesn't mean to say that ea can't up the offer and get the deal eventually.
 
This is going to suck so much. Instead of GTA IV : Vice City (oh yeah please let their be one in the 80's) it will be GTA IV '08, '09, '10 and the new addon GTA IV : Bon Voyage.

I fear the same for Civilisation too, look what happened to the Sim series when EA got their mits on Maxis :(

Or Origin systems, Maxis and Ion storm, I would google for a list of everyone they’ve shut down or ruined but I think I’d find it too depressing.

Why wont money grabbing EA just leave good game producers alone, at this rate rate the future of the gaming market looks very bleak
