marketing tool for EA, to a) bring an even younger crowd into the BF series, and b) to see if it can leach off some of the success the style had with valve and TF2

Completely different art direction in XIII, it had more of a graphic novel influence, TF2's style is more in the vein of illustrations from the 1940's/50's.

Marky, simply dismissing a game based on its style of graphics is just pure ignorance. If it still plays well then all is good.
