Completely different art direction in XIII, it had more of a graphic novel influence, TF2's style is more in the vein of illustrations from the 1940's/50's.

Marky, simply dismissing a game based on its style of graphics is just pure ignorance. If it still plays well then all is good.

What I was saying was that I (in my opinion) prefer BF games because of their realism (Not counting 2142 ) - however, and this is my opinion, I don't feel it'd be realistic once everything is cartoon like

Yup, completely free to play. It will be supported by ads on the main page, loading screens and player profile pages (MySpace style). And will also have micro-transactions.

It's following the model for Fifa Online EA have setup in Korea, which is working very well for them.

Tbh if it'll be made by the same makers as 1942 or bf2 I think it'll be fine, farcry iirc also has an Ad supported version, and that isn't a bad game, I liked al bf games till 2142, but I only disliked it for being future fantasy, if it's normall again not future then I recon I'll like it.

Why do you think that, EA has released all the bf series from 1942.
All bf's were great games except 2142, wich was only ruined coz of being in the future, ea has not much to do with it, dice and the desert combat makers ( bought by dice) will probably still make it.

Agreed, found myself playing that more often than 1942, but I also loved forgottten hope, now downloading FH2 see if it's any good .
