EA Origins

I pre orderd bf3 ages ago .Did not play the beta so have no idea on how origins works

I have steam with over 70 games ,does it work the same ? Do i need the disks once my games are registred on the account or do i just download them anytime just like steam .

Any help would be greatly appreciated

You just download it like Steam, you should have recieved an email from EA stating BF3 is ready for preload.

Pretty similar to Steam although downloading and installing are independent on Origin, i.e. you can download a game without installing it (this has a side effect of meaning you need more disk space if you like to keep the installers)

I have disk copy , so will be installing from disk obviously . Im buying a copy for a friend on active duty in iraq so need to know if he can just download the game and play with the serial number ill be sending him or does he need the disk ?
