EA password changed...

I got an email from 7am this morning saying my EA password had been successfully reset. Despite me not requesting this.

Anyone else had this?

Bit concerning.

Sounds more like a phising attempt to me.

You'd get an email saying you had requested a password change if someone was trying to hack you. This way, you think your passwords changed, so you click on the link they give you in panic, put in your old password and then they steal it. No idea what they'd gain from it though...

I went to the real EA site, reset my password and got the exact same email.

Had the same email 2 or 3 times now this year just ignored it when I checked my password at EA few hours later nothing had changed.

Change all your passwords and run scans.
