EA shutting down online servers

There is no indication of usage, or if they intend to consolidate games on new servers. But to me this seems like EA are trying to force gamers to buy the newest release of their games.

I saw that earlier and i thought it would be something inevitable anyway. You cant carry on providing a server for games that are released almost every year - i.e fifia series....

They better not shutdown C&C servers as I still play some RA2 now and then. But it makes sense if no one is using them.

EA have supported XBL since 2003.

probably cose those games were finally patched to a working state...so they can't have that...get rid of them and get everyone playing buggy games again!

not suprised though...they're the type of company to do that just to make more money.
