EA Store - Easter Sale 50% off

Yeah, just spotted it over on HoutUKDeals ...

I'm tempted by Crysis 2 and DA2 for £24.98, with a free copy of ME2 thrown in. I already have a DVD copy, I'm guessing I could sell this on with the new serial code?

EDIT: actually, forget DA2 through this, Amazon and Play selling it for £12.99 ...

Just bought. £25 for all 3 is a bargain. EA loader seems to do the business.

ok on the EA loader ...

I've purchased some games - all fine - and using the download - but even though I've specified keep "installer" - apparently on the EA forums this doesn't always happen - and you have to redownload on each install ? is that correct ?

and if true - sounds very unfair - as T&Cs on purhcase say you only have 30 days to download ....

worryingly my BFBC2 Vietnam purchase (I've kept the email thankfully) doesn't even show up in my account - doesn't bode well for my current purchases

any ideas ?

I don't know anyone who even plays Vietnam so tbh i wouldn't bother picking it up even for a fiver. Nobody in the BC2 thread ever mentions it in a positive light or ever really talks about it.

The price puts me off the most. Crysis 2/Bulletstorm are still £17.50 even at 50% off. You'll be able to get near that price from online retailers if you look hard enough, and you get a DVD and don't have to rely on EA Downloader.

You'll alos get free drm limiting installs, which most people don't know exists until they reach the limit, then discover they can't de-authorise a machine because they changed components with the helpful "please buy another copy" message.

Steam > EA store, even if it is still drm, at least it bleeding works :p

i got bulletstorm and Crysis 2 for £24.98

cheapest i found bulletstorm was £14 and Crysis still £20+ so its at least a tenner saved and i have never had issues with EA yet so cant really be a hater myself.
