EA UFC 3

Managed to get a hold of the beta version of this a few days ago. And I must admit, I'm enjoying it - I thought it was going to be rubbish.

I this is the first UFC game I've played regularly since the last UFC Undisputed game from the late THQ.

Anyone given it a try?

I'm tempted to give it a go, must admit I hated UFC 2 though so unless its a huge change in direction from that I can't see me liking it.

I've been trying the beta of this game.

I think its overall pretty good and certainly the stand-up game as changed a LOT. Creating distance between the fighters now plays a bigger role. Also the moment I've decided to go wreckless in the fight, even if I'm winning, I get quickly knocked down lol.

Overall it seems like a good game. I wish they would have changed the submission system more though.

the sub system is broken. I played well over 100 hours in the last game. And for a decent play if I catch you in a sub your ******. And that’s not fair. Also the striking has massively changed but it I don’t feel like the striking has evolved I just feel like they have gone a different way with it and it doesn’t look or feel real if I’m honest.

What has improved is stamina loss and head movement.

Its not available in the beta.

having a lot of fun with this, i like how the standup has changed, it needs tweaking but its way better than the last game. the beta is broken in many respects and yet still great fun, it needs a lot of work to really balance it.
