Eagle F1s discontinued?

Well yesterday I ordered some new tyres:

Today I received this e-mail:

Now I assume he is refering to the certain tyre size that I want or has the tyre been superseded by the asymmetric version?

GSD3s have been replaced with Asymmetricos IIRC.

Assymetric replaced GS-D3 in 17" and above as of 2007 onwards.

Hmm camskill don't seem to have asymmetric in the size I require and I can't seem to find them on any other sites? Got any ideas?

Looks like they aren't available in that size at all My backup plan are Michelin Pilot Sport Exalto PS2s - is there anything else I should be considering?

Thats a hybrid of 2 tyres!

You can get Pilot Sport PS2's which are very good but pricey, or Michelin Pilot Exalto which are harder and not as good as the PS2's.

I'm more than happy with my Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's having used Pilot Sport PS2's for a few years before.

Have you tried in the 215 size (to see if they have stock left). They work fine on the Fez, I have them on my ST (as do others).

I had Yoko Parada spec 2's on my Fez ST and they were pretty good

I have Pirelli P-Zero Neros on my Fez. They come standard with these tyres but some say they hate them, personally i really like them, maybe not as good as the T1R's but still very good imo.

I fancy a set of Asymmetrics on my Z4 once my Falken's have worn out.

The Pirelli P-Zero Neros I found awful for wheelspin in 1st gear, they just wouldn't grip. I've ordered some Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. Saved £80 over the Goodyears, just hope they last longer than the Toyo T1Rs they seem to be made of cheese.
