ok well had this running a couple of days now I have 56 members and 694 posts :D I Have only just realized my welcome emails, that people get when joining the forum are coming from my personal email account.

I have changed it in the admin panel for my acount but people are still getting emails from my email address ???

My emails that tell me people have joined are coming to the correct admin email address so I would have thought the welcome emails would have come from that as well.

Any help much appreciated
 
Not being entirely familiar with SMF, you may want to take a look in the database using PHP MyAdmin - have a look in the various config tables and see if your email address is listed there - just replace it with the address that you want the emails to come from.
